Brianna Mester

Brianna Mester has spent more than a decade developing her game from a successful Staten Island youth bowler into an accomplished collegiate athlete competing at Bryant University.

Bowling for more than 12 years, Brianna began working with Vinny D'Ambrosio III during high school. What started as physical-game development evolved into a much broader competitive education learning how to adjust to demanding lane conditions, approach different environments, manage pressure, and understand the mental side of high-level bowling.

Her high school career established Brianna as one of Staten Island's standout female competitors.

Brianna continued her bowling career at Bryant University, where she is now a senior and an important part of the university's collegiate program. In 2026, Bryant captured the ECC Championship and advanced to the NCAA Regional Championship, giving Brianna the opportunity to compete on one of the biggest stages in collegiate bowling.

Her success has also extended beyond the college game. In 2024, Brianna finished runner-up in a PWBA Regional event, demonstrating that her game can translate against accomplished adult and professional-level competition.

Throughout that progression, Vinny has remained an important part of her development. Brianna credits him with helping transform her from someone who could simply execute shots into a more complete competitive bowler. Their work focused on learning how to attack more difficult patterns, adapt to changing environments, establish competitive goals, and recognize that bowling is as much a mental challenge as it is a physical one.

Brianna is no longer simply the high school athlete Vinny began coaching years ago. She has become a championship collegiate bowler who continues to test herself at increasingly higher levels of competition.

As a VD3 Collegiate Athlete, Brianna represents the full player-development pathway: build the foundation, learn to compete, understand the game, and continue raising the standard as the competition gets stronger.
