Jeff Martin

Jeff Martin brings nearly two decades of competitive bowling experience, championship credentials, and formal player-development expertise to The VD3 Experience.

A PBA Full Member and accomplished right-handed competitor, Jeff has built an extensive résumé at the local, state, and national levels.

But Jeff's impact on bowling extends well beyond his own performance.

A USBC Silver Certified Coach, Jeff served as Head Coach of the College of Staten Island bowling program from 2023 through 2025.

His coaching foundation began long before the collegiate level. As a four-year varsity bowler at Curtis High School, Jeff served as a two-year captain and helped lead the program to multiple PSAL playoff appearances. Today, he combines that competitive experience with formal coaching education, including USBC Silver certification, SafeSport certification, Registered Volunteer Program credentials, and USBC Coach+ membership.

Jeff is also the founder of The Strike Coach, his independent bowling coaching and education brand. Through The Strike Coach, he works to make technical bowling knowledge more accessible while also producing content focused on equipment, ball releases, and player development.

Currently carrying approximately a 234 house average and a 208 challenge-condition average, Jeff remains an active competitor allowing him to teach the modern game from the perspective of someone who is still experiencing it firsthand.

As part of the broader VD3 community, Jeff represents another side of what The VD3 Experience is designed to bring together: high-level competition, educated coaching, collegiate development, technical knowledge, and a commitment to passing the game forward.
