Nikolas Boyd

Nikolas Boyd has known Vinny D'Ambrosio III since he was about six years old. What started as a young kid tagging along with his dad to Saturday practice eventually turned into a serious athlete-coach relationship that helped shape Nikolas into one of the rising competitive bowlers in the area.

Vinny recognized Nikolas's potential early and began working with him from a young age, building the foundation of his game and constantly pushing him to improve. Although Nikolas stepped away from bowling for roughly four years during high school, his return to the sport reignited everything Vinny was right there waiting to get back to work.

Since then, Nikolas has put in countless hours at Showplace, committing himself to drills, lane play, tournament preparation, and the day-to-day work required to compete at a high level. Under Vinny's coaching, he has developed not only physically, but mentally learning patience, trust, consistency, and how to stay composed under pressure.

More than anything, Nikolas credits Vinny for helping guide his development every step of the way from childhood practices to adult competition, pushing him, keeping him accountable, calming him down in the biggest moments, and always finding a new drill or adjustment to help him get better.

Nikolas's journey is still being written, and he remains committed to growing his game, chasing titles, and continuing to trust the process.
